Our Story

Dahna’s Spanish Academy is a dedicated, reliable, and student-centered tutoring service committed to placing learning above everything else.

Sharalene, also known as “Dahna,” began her journey in 2009 as a Spanish tutor for college students. She provided both individual and small-group instruction across a variety of course topics, helping students improve their academic performance by at least one letter grade. In addition, Sharalene offered individualized support to students with special needs and provided one-on-one tutoring for students on academic probation.

Through her patience, commitment, and proven ability to help students successfully pass their Spanish courses, demand for her tutoring services quickly grew among students from various schools and academic backgrounds.

In response to the increasing demand and the growing need for flexible, non-traditional learning options, Sharalene transitioned her services online in 2014.

This transition demonstrated the many benefits of online learning, including:

• Greater flexibility and accessibility

• Increased student independence and self-discovery

• Interactive group-based discussions

• Personalized and transformational learning experiences

Today, Dahna’s Spanish Academy continues to provide engaging and supportive instruction designed to help students build confidence, strengthen language skills, and achieve academic success.
